This past weekend, ninety authors and illustrators from the tri-state area, including myself, gathered for the first ever Books NJ festival at Paramus Public Library. Highlights included book signings and book fair, panel discussions, readings and storytimes for kids, crafts, face painting, and a 50's band.

A big shout-out to Arlene Sahraie, Library Services Officer of the BCCLS (Bergen County Cooperative Library System), and Donna Perkosky of the Paramus Public Library for organizing this event. A special thanks to Sharon Kalman, Children's Librarian at PPL, for moderating our panel discussion "Let Me Draw You A Picture-- Making a Story Come Alive."
